Anybody know were to find 1:6 scale animal replicas all I can find in the net is 1:10 scale? That scale It makes for a very whimmpy Lion I need for on of my customs.
Hey Carlos, today I found a 15" King Kong by Mezco. It is a dead on likeness of the movie King Kong. Cover up a few scars and paint over it, throw a red cloak on it, and it would make a great "Thak" (1:6 scale) from the Conan story "Rogues in the House" Spencer's had it on sale for about $40. It comes in 3 versions (faces only as far as I can tell), an open mouth roaring one, a closed mouth with a distant expression, and a closed mouth one with a really 'pissed off' expression. I only found the first two versions and opted on the roaring one.
The Disney stores sold some Chronicles of Narnia figures (1:12 scale) a while back which had a lion (Aslan) with great articulation, paint kind of sucked, but I bought two of them anyways. Haven't seen anything in 1:6 scale though. I'm wanting to do a "Tower of the Elephant" diorama some day, so I may have to get another lion or two.
If you can't find one - I'll make one for you
We got them at a local zoo
But unfortunately theyre my kids - I can try casting the parts and ship them to you?
Theyre solid BTW no articulation
But I can sort that I'm sure
