Custom WorkstationAfter talking to a few from these boards, I've decided to try making a Red Hulk variant. It seems like a generic repaint of a Marvel Icon Hulk (12inch) with alittle bit of sculpting. I decided to go with Citadel Color paint (Blood Red / Red Gore for the skin). I was thinking of sculpting the hair to make the spikes and do a dry brush to bring out any detail, go with a orange/yellow scheme for the eyes (or try that LED tutorial. And finally for the pants I was thinking maybe a black/deep blue bases with a gray/white highlight
But my questions are this...
1.) What color wash should I use to bring out the details?
2.) What is a good online site that has good prices for the paint such as Vallejo and Citadel Color?
Also, would anyone suggest I prime the figure with a gray primer (or a white primer) over the Hulk first, that way the red stands out the most?
Any help would be great.
Thanks in advance
JK

As for primer, it depends-white base will make the red "stand out" more(brighter) while the grey will make it a little darker(itll still stand out though)
Guess you just gotta test it out and see what you like best.
I am still in the process of developing a fodder and getting the tools together. Might as well start simple right? lol
Thanks for the quick response
