Know of any well-articulated 2 to 3 inch figures?

Posted in Custom Workstation

I've been searching for almost a year for a line of small (2.5 to 3 inch) well-articulated figures for use with customization projects. So far, the best articulated that I've found are the microman "Micro Sister" figures, but the proportions are off and they are a little larger than I'm looking for.

The closest to size and proportion are a series of Kamen Rider trading figures called "Action Kamen Rider"- they are only 7.5 cm tall (about 2 and 3/4 inches), and are fairly well articulated. The only problem with these is that the joins are fairly floppy.

Does anyone out there know of a line of similarly sized figures with good articulation and solid, tight joints?

'bout mid-thigh on an X-Men Clasics Archangel figure. So, anything from there to kneehigh against a Legend, I'ld guess, depending on the figure.

Tape say a scootch under three inches. Articulated at neck, shoulders, hips and knees.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys.

It looks like this might be the only option available.

That's right; those were smaller than 3 and 3/4 scale, weren't they? I seem to remember them being more articulated than the Star Wars figures put out back then. Do you remember what the average size of them was?

GI Joes are the smallest figures I can think of. Though they are 3 3/4...

Use the superglue trick to try and tighten the joints.
