Hobgoblin Help?

Posted in Custom Workstation

Hey guys, I am currently working on a hobgoblin figure, which I am using an old light up head spidey as the base. Most of the details are apoxie sculpt, and Its come down to me working on the hood. I have two capes, one is smaller and from a DBZ Evil Buu figure, and the other is a moon knight cape. I think the better choice would be to use the buu cape though.

My predicament lay in the hood, as I stated before. I've been thinking about removing the hood from the MK fig, but I can also sculpt a hood too. The head I'm using is a custom sculpt, and is about the size of a movie iron man head. What should I do about the hood?

Thanks in advance guys.

I just presed it till it was flat. Then I put it on him and cut away the exces. The hardest hing about this was smoothing out the finger prints without crushing it. I sugest sanding it a bit after it is dry.

Thanks Pock, That's definitely how I'm going to do it. What shape did you form the sculpt into before laying it down on the head?

I think you should schulpt it. Just youse a thin layer of schulpt and let it flow nateraly for the rinkles. Then smooth out the finger prints. I did this on my custom schelitar and I think it loocked pretty goold. You can take a loock at him if you want to sea the hoold.
