Help removing kimono on Neca street fighter Ryu

Posted in Custom Workstation

Can anyone help me with a way to make the kimono removable, without damaging it? I want to remove and dress back at will, also the joints of this figures are very tight, it took serious strength to make it move the first time (as ofthen happens to new figures) and I still couldn't "break" the torso articulation, I believe I'll really need to take out the kimono to do it, but I'm open for sugestions.

the arms method doesn't work cause the shape of the torso, large shoulders small hips, I cuted it open, and I'll glue it back in once I fix the torso joint problem.
I posted a ew tpic about that, cause it's way to hard

I'm not familiar with the figure, other then pictures. You could try heating and popping the arms. I would think you could "slip" the Gi off and pop the arms back on. If you want to be able to take the Gi on and off, do the same as above but replace the hole and peg with good strength magnets. That way you can take the arms off at will but they won't fall off.

You could cut the gi under his arm along the seam there and it should be easily removable.
