Anyone know how to crack the upper torso open, to switch the shoulders on figures?

I'm a newbie but I'm learning my own ways with help from the tutorials.

What I have been doing is drilling the small holes under the pits and everywhere else that is recommended in the tutorials. I'll then do the boil n pop method next. I'll grab the figure with paper towels and prying tool (screwdriver....etc) and I'll get the water to a slight boil.

**Be careful not to leave the figure in too long or touch the bottom of the pot because it will melt.**

So I leave the figure in the water for about 8 to 12 seconds and then remove it and then I pry. In my experience it makes it so much easier to pop open and not crack unwanted pieces because the factory glue inside is weakened by the hot water.

If it don't pop right away, don't use excessive force. Just re-submerge the part you are removing back into the hot water and try again.

Again, I'm no pro but it works for me.

the dcuc body that I've used has this small gap in the seams, so I just inserted a small screw driver to pry it open... maybe you can also drill small holes at the side of the torso and pry it open from there..
