First time repairing..Need help

So, this will be my first time repairing a figure. I have a marvel universe spider man who's hand broke off leaving the peg inside the arm. Because this is such a small scale, I am hesitant to just dig it out with my exacto blade. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ahhh yes, I need to pick up a dremel part that will drill into something that small, or hopefully find a screw that small. Thanks for the tip.

if it's the peg that broke and is left inside the shoulder joint, you could use a very small corkscrew-like thing (or a very small pointed screw) and insert it into the peg and then heat the portion with a hair dryer and then pull it out when it already softened... or maybe you could just dremel out the peg... that's what I did when the wrist peg of my akuma broke.
