Harness question

Posted in Custom Workstation

Hi, I have read on many custom posts of people building harnesses with different parts of other figure harnesses.
Is this even possible? How do I attach the straps to each other? I don't think super glue will hold.
Thanks for your help

hey man,
check out my Liefield era Cable. I did just this. sometimes it is better to look for an older toy with a removable belt. I just cut off the ends that attach (with those rubber hook like designs) and SUPERGLUE yes superglue it on. and im using dollar store super glue. the gear on my cable was not sculpted, ALL of it is from bishops belt, a 1997 toybiz wolverine removable "pocket" belt omega reds shoulder pads. I just cut the omega gear on the side, glued the pocket belt pieces on each side of cut, and it works like factory. that whole gear is just lots of little pieces, all glued with super glue. if you harnes/ rubberized pieces are painted, sand them down with 220-400 grit sand paper, then glue, then repaint. you have to hold the rubber pieces tightly, but once they bond, its good as gold. I hope this help you man. I can send you a detailed pic if u can't really see what im saying in my cable pics.
