Hiya, need some advice! First figure!

Posted in Custom Workstation

Hi, wasn't sure where else to ask this...this seemed like the best place. I just registered yesterday.

Anyway I just got my first ever real action figure.... Reno from the "Final Fantasy VII Advent Children" Play Arts line.

I've always heard people saying he's really durable...but...his neck is really loose. (He has two points of articulation on his neck, one at the bottom where it connects to his torso, and one at the top, where it connects to his head.) His head is fine, but his neck just kinda sits there on his torso, and if I flip him upside down, it will fall off.

In fact, this happened right when I took him out of the box the first time. So it's not because I was rough with him or anything.

It's a ball joint. I'm mystified because all the reviews say he's really sturdy...just seems weird.

So anyway does anyone have any ideas how I could make his neck stay on better (without superglue)?

Yeah using superglue to tighten joints works great for me. Be sure to follow the tutorial and pay attention. Lord knows I've almost glued a joint completely by not paying attention.

There is a review on the main site explaining how to tighten joints. Maybe check that out.

you could try making a new ball joint and socket out of apoxie

Nah I've tried that already, it doesn't work.
