Fallout Custom

Posted in Custom Workstation

Well I have a mostly finished power armor custom, but I've seen some pretty neat customs of Vault Dwellers, so I'd like to see about maybe making one myself, whats the most cost effective 1/12th scale figure that resembles a man in a jumpsuit that can be suggested? Prefferably DC or Marvel style articulation?

I found an older ML punisher that had some brown boots and gloves on him from a Captain America. I think he's like the series 3 or 4 Punisher, that older beefy one. I have no head for him, no idea where the head is to be honest. I've resculpted the chest already to resemble a vault suit. I think this might actually work quite well if I can find a good head for him.

I'd say go with dcuc captain cold. He's got some real nice fabric texture, and is a good base for non-superheros, as he isn't as bulky as other dcuc bucks. Hope that helps.

I actually started looking at a Marvel Legends Winter Soldier. He's kind of pricey, so it might be nigh impossible for me to get one at all, but he's rugged and retro looking with his gear, so he might be a cool choice.

Check Cult Classic Michael Meyers, who has an old looking jumpsuit, otherwise you could try a figure with a jacket/pants like I did with my dweller, looks just as cool. It also depends if you want to work towards more of a statue like figure, or a more flexible action figure.

it depends on how bulky you want him to be.
