Custom WorkstationRight so when I get my rotary tool ( after deciding not too stop customising ) I am planning on making a red hulk figure out ou a meastro hulk . I was going to have like he has burst out of his like army camouflage trousers - but any I have a question about how I would paint him :
- would I first paint the top half red then give it like a black wash ?
- paint it black the drybrush it red ?
- or any other ways to add detail ?

just cover the figure with black paints and then use a big hard bristled brush to run through the figure and dry brush it. you can look at the tutorials section on how to do dry brushing as it's really hard to explain it without the use of pictures.
and about what the count said. after dry brushing, you could put on a little wash to add more depth on the figure.
just go through the whole tutorial section, they have very detailed instructions and step by step process there. it would help a lot with your works.
and some other dark stffs to add shadows.
