Anyone use rub on transfers?

Posted in Custom Workstation

I'm trying to figure out how to add a symbol to a figure's chest. If I attempted to paint it myself it would end up looking really terrible, and the chest is quite muscley so a decal wouldn't work. I came across rub on transfers while trying to figure out what to do, and wondered if maybe that would work. Anyone ever use this method on their customs?

watched the tutorial and the process would come off, used to work for a photo business and they did similar things and they did not last (washing or dishwasher would destroy it even rubbing scratching). you might be able to seal it with glue or something else, but it seems the stickers would be the best and if you have issues with crevices, maybe fill or smooth that area out. you can try this method, I just know it is not durable, unfortunately. hope this helps.

sorry not heard of that particular method, what are the transfers normally used for? makes me think that it might not stay on that well, but if you could also post a pic that would help of both the tranfer and fig you are trying to use. I will try to help in any way I can.
