Posted in Custom Workstation

I bought armory cause they had nothing else and had been meaning to try it.
The first two coats worked fine. The third coat left that annoying "fuzz" effect.
The can was room tempature. The item was room tempature. The only things I can thi I caused this

Or that I was spraying in my garage, I'm on the east coast and it was 20 degrees out. But the item were only brought out
To be sprayed and fought right back in to dry?
Any suggestions or help would be appriceated. Also looking for a good how to trouble shooting page for
Issues with sealants finishers. I have had some horror stories laitly and need to just find a place tha sell's the good stuff.
Thanks in advance.

I never have that problem with Krylon Matte but when I used plaid It used to happen when I sprayed it in cold air. The sealant freeze dries before it hits the plastic causeing a white film appearance which can be fixed by lightly rubbing a light natural oil over the spots then running under luke warm water and using a paper towel to blot it dry. Once the oil is all absorbed you can spray another coat, preferably in warmer windless air.

No hobby obby near me closest is like 4 hours away. I have been Plano on ordering from them but they don't mail certain things.
As for multiple coats most recommend many light coasts. I have never had issues save for with action figures? Is it commen to only do one ts two coats for figures due to surfece area?

Is it common to do that many coats of sealer? I've only ever done 1 coat, I'd think you'd be wasting sealer after that

being too close could be the issue here or too much coating, either one can cause the effect. I use model masters dullcote and it has never done that for me, it may be expensive, but I find it to be the best of the best. I have even had to get 3-5 inches close and spray and no frosting effect.
