I saw the Hulk movie figures today in the local Target, and as near as I could tell, only one of them is really labeled correctly. Abomination, that's the correct label for all of these. They're just...bad figures. Poor sculpting on the faces, bad articulation...

Maybe the different size though is to differentiate them from the Hulk Legends figures....or..maybe..well, that's the only positive option I can think of right off the top of my head for the smaller scale...

Funny thing is, while Hasbro is trending towards smaller figures, the DCUC figures and the new Batman Dark Knight movie figures have increased in scale.

I didn't spend much time checking these out as I was instantly turned off by them. I don't understand why Hasbro keeps going with the smaller scale on their movie figures. The Fantastic Four movie series, the Spiderman movie series they did, Even the Iron Man movie figures are a little dainty compared to most ML figures. I think I speak for most people when I say that we would like a little continuity in scale. What good is it to have a 5 inch Hulk (I'm just guessing the size on these) that is dwarfed by a ML Shadowcat? This looks pretty stupid for display purposes, or any other purpose for that matter. Perhaps this is an effort to save money and use less plastic? More likely, their left hand just doesn't know what their right hand is doing and they are failing miserably at making a cohesive Marvel Toy Franchise. I don't know, but Hulk is supposed to be big and bad...not Hobbit sized. The sculpt of these figures is not terribly bad, but potential detail is lost in the smaller scale, and the raw lime-green plastic screams for some skin tones. Overall, this is a very unimpressive showing by Hasbro, but then the standards they have already set weren't very high in the first place. Oh, well, I guess the movie Hulks are O.K. for little kids to play with or something. I'm sure that when the movie comes out and hits the heighth of it's popularity you could put a Hulk logo on a dog turd and it would still sell.

look godawful.

I wasn't too impressed with the iron man figures, but they look hand crafted compared to this crap.
