Sculpting?

Posted in Custom Workstation

I am new to the forum, but not new to customizing. The majority of my work is repaints, mostly on sports figures like McFarlanes, etc. Lately I have been getting into the comic/fantasy side of action figures and am very interested in doing some sculpting; not necessarily sculpt a whole figure from scratch (Ill work my way up to that) but I want to be able to sculpt and add details and extremities to existing figures. What is the best sculpting materials to start with. I live in OKC and locally we have Michaels and Hobby Lobby as the basic craft stores, each with some sculpting stuff in it, Im just looking to get started. Any advice would help. Thanks.
