Airbrush Paint

Posted in Custom Workstation

My airbrush has been clogging a lot lately, and I don't think it's because of the airbrush head I've been using I think it's because of the paints I've been using. What kinds of paints do you guys use with your airbrushes, and if you use paint that isn't airbrush paint how much do you water it down before use?

I ordered them from Coast Airbrush but I did manage to find them at a local art store as well. I think they ran about $4.50 for a 2oz bottle which is a fair amount of paint. If you go this route make sure to get a bottle of reducer.

Thanks a lot! Where do you buy those from, or do you just order them online?

Lately I have been using Wicked Colors made by Createx after watching a video from Encline and so far I am very impressed.
If you are clogging up it just may be your paint is to thick, you generally want any paint you put through an airbrush to have a milk like consistancy.
