Any tips on sculpting wolverines head?

Posted in Custom Workstation

I'm running out of old figures to test my skills on, but I'm currently trying to turn a marvel legends hulk into a wolverine . My sculpting skills suck and I'm screwing up his pointy things on his helmet. Any suggestions?

Yeah, cut some plastic into the shape of his mask ends but make them smaller than you want (figure packets work real well). You could dremell a small channel into the base to glue them into or you could just glue them flat on (the first would give more stability). Cover the plastic tips with your chosen sculpt and leave it to set. Once it's set if it's all lumpy and ugly looking then go at it with some sandpaper, start with 150 grit then work your way up to about 600 for a super smooth finish.

If you can't make it by sculpting them then maybe you could cut them out of something and glue them on then sculpt the wrest on the face but I think all sculpt would look better, my only advice is keep trying, you'll get better
