Removable Vest on figures?

Posted in Custom Workstation

I just completed my first custom. It is a True Heroes action figure 3.75 scale and I took the figure apart swapped some parts and repainted it to match the Canadian Forces Disruptive Pattern ( CADPAT). I cannot post pics yet but I will when I get the ability to. Anyways, I was wondering if there are figures, not just military, where the vest are actually removable and not just crack the chest open to reveal it.

BTW, just want to say thanks to all the members here who have helped me complete my first custom. It was manageable due to the helpful, friendly and knowledgeable customizers on this forum.

There's also a masked thug from a Chap-mei bargain line with a removable puffy vest. A cops and criminals set I think.

Some of the 25th Anniversary G.I.JOEs have removable vests that you might be able to use (maybe that Pit Commando with all the swappable gear?)

I don't know how easy they are to come by, but this is an Ertl Hunter, in 3.75" scale, from my toy collection. I've never tried taking the vest off, but it's a loose "floating" piece, not permanently attached to the figure, so it's probably possible.
