More info on sculpt?

Posted in Custom Workstation

Alright, so, I'm moving onto the real deal and I'm going to do a bit more than repaints and cheap sculpts (something worth sharing). I want to get an Aves product, but I've heard so much praise about both Apoxie and Fixit and I'm just not entirely sure which would suit my need better. I like the idea of not having to wait around after mixing, which puts Fixit ahead, but I've also heard it cures harder. How hard does Fixit cure vs Apoxie? Moreover, the main thing I'd be using it for is hair so would either one be a bad choice for that? Of course, I'd also be using it for general edits like clothes, armor, weapons, etc, but I don't think either would be an issue there. Thanks in advance!

I do a lot of carving and shaving of Fixit after it's cured. It's nice to work symmetry and scale while staring at it for a while. Fixit is MUCH easier to manipulate when cured than Apoxie Sculpt. For the most part, I can do the same things with either but I prefer Fixit for it's few small advantages.
