Turning an action figure into a statue?

Posted in Custom Workstation

What would be the best way to go about eliminating and covering up articulation to turn an action figure into a statue? If you're wondering it's a Marvel Legends Hercules but it would be helpful to know in general and there appears to be no tutorial to be found anywhere.

Don't forget to sand the sculpted areas too, and be sure to have a few anatomy reference pics so you can check it's looking natural. I turned a DCUC body into a captain britain statue it's easier than you may think. There's a few work in progress pics in here if you want to have a glance http://www.figurerealm.com/forums/viewt ... &start=480

Glue the joints into the desired position, then use a sculpting compound like Aves, Magic Sculpt or Milliput to fill in the joints, then paint.
