Please people, just Link your Trade list in your Signature!

Posted in Trading Post

Hi everyone,

I noticed that relatively few people (only Scarlet Magpie and myself that I've noticed) actually put the HTTP link to their Trade lists in their signature.

Why is that? It's an excellent way to improve communication, and accessibility of your trade & want-stuffs.

I'm finding it a bit frustrating that I need to ask people for their links, or be forced to dig through old threads to find them.

Also, I don't think you can add links to your signature until you have like 10 or 15 posts, so keep that in mind everyone.

You can just put the link too without any tags, even just having the visual of the link helps a lot.

I'm not sure what the issue is, hum... Is your trade list hosted on a non address?

Either way, make sure it has the tag around your http link.

Done. It is a very detailed list of available trades and wants including comics, action figures, trading cards, and collectible magazines. Just check out my signature link and PM me here at Figure Realm!

Heh, sure thing:

At the top of this page (or any on the form, if you're logged in) it would show:

You have # new message

Click on "Profile"

Scroll down to to the blue subheader titled "Profile Information"

Under that area, there's "Signature:".

Just Copy/Past the full URL of your trade list. Mine looks like this:

[ b ]My Figure Trade List (Loose/NiP & ALL Fodder):
[ url ] ... p?t=18018[ /url ][ /b ]

** Note: I put spaces between the brackets so the BBCode wouldn't kick in.

Hope this helps.
