Marvel Legends Classics?

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

Hey!

Do you guys think a wave of rare Marvel Legends from the past, rereleased with the exact same paint, accessories, etc. would be a big seller?

Thanks,
EJ

I think it would be great if they rerealesed the old Marvel Legends!!!! Playmates Toys has just done that with the old TMNT figures and it's been a huge sucses.

hey everyone, im new here and just wanted to throw in my 2cents. it would be awesome if the HTF figs got re released. it would give people a second chance to get that DP or Juggs. but I doubt hasbro would ever do it.

I think they'd retain their value as long as the new ones have slight changes. For example the re release of the smc venom. Though the new one is the same with a different spider, mac gargans actually the old one still has some value

It would be great! But Wouldn't happen Do to the cost! And the Old ML wouldn't loose value, Being still in it Packaging, Secret War Figure still hold there Price. But then again I've been wrong before!

I would not mind having another chance at buying Dark Phoenix.

I'd love it, I lost all my original collection, ml6 deadpool, etc. when I moved to a different state. so I'd love to see them brought back, make it better for customs, especially trying to get parts at decent prices. I'd hope they would redo deadpools body though, bleh, hated the shoulders and small feet

the value is artificially inflated.

but besides, second printings of comics don't diminish the original prices.

I disagree. This is an opportunity to complete collections for people who missed.

People will know the year of release as it will be stamped on the figure.

I know I'd love it. Especially a Juggy! Probably be hard to find, though.

I don't really think the value of the originals would go down, especially since the packaging would be different. The only ones who care about that anyway are scalpers, right?

They shut down our Toys R Us, and our K-B Toys. Those were the 2 best places to get figures when they were around. Especially K-B Toys, they would have these 3 for $10 sales on action figures a lot, and I'd be all over that. And Marvel, X-Men, and Spider-Man figures were usually included!

I got most everything out of my local comic shop that I want, and they don't really order new figures much. Maybe once in a while Target and Wal-Mart will have some good ones, but most of the time it's crap: mostly Star Wars, Power Rangers, and Star Wars. So now I mostly buy online.

The idea makes me shudder. Kills all value.

Depends. Hardcore collectors may be like "Pfft. Those aren't the originals so I'm not going to waste my money". Then again, I could see many of you guys all over something like that.
