Batman arkham asylum dcd

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

I just bought a dcd Batman arkham asylum figure from china and I was looking at it closer and I think its a figure that was taken directly from the manufacturer. I noticed its missing areas that should be painted!

Did I get ripped off?

There are lots of legit Chinese sellers on eBay. When I do buy toys on the Bay, most of the time it's from these guys.

Hi, I just ordered a few figures at a cheap price from China to see what I end up with. If they turn out to be Knock-offs I will just give them to my little guy to play with.

Great information everyone. I always wondered why Hong Kong offered such low prices on e-bay.

I snatched a Savage Hulk from China off the bay. I figured the same reasoning as Darth, customizing + cheap = perfect.... The one I got is so misshapen, the chest looks almost deflated. The hands are mangled and the joints are so loose, it won't even stand up. I may be able to salvage the feet or something but it's pretty much junk...... Be wary.

I buy figures from China fairly often and yeah, they generally are figures taken from the factory for one reason or another. I get a lot with broken parts or paint missing but that doesn't bother me as I buy them to customize. The other bonus is they are generally much cheaper from China.

Back in 2007 ebay had transformers figures before they were ready to be shipped out right off the factory floor and some weren't even painted.

A lot of times those figures from China are ones stolen off the production line before they had a chance to ever be packaged. They are normally the figures that never made it to the final stage and where going to be thrown out for one reason or another.
