We had legendary GI Joe battles in my neighborhood. There were three of us who lived in consecutive houses so the Joes could assemble on my porch, slog their way through Carlito's front yard and take out Cobra over by Jason's driveway. Bazooka never made it back home after that last summer though.
Growing up the 80s I had a lot of Transformers and He-Man. When Ninja Turtles came out, it was all about those! And then X-men. But for the most part I had a mix of toys from different cartoons.
The Crystal Swiftwind my aunt gave me for Christmas! I took it with me to school and even lost it only to find it again later that week. Since then I lost the wings and saddle but I still have the horse with bridle. I hope I can get a replacement for the saddle one day just to have it complete again. :-) Rogue
I can't really say which was my favorite toy, but the funnest buying experiance would be going around finding all 5 figures for Ruination. I had a blast playing with it and, despite the fact its burried under a mountain of other transformers, I still do!
When I was younger heck I'm only 18 now! So childhood isn't that far behind me but I loved Beast wars,Valor Vs Venom Joes, Dragonball Z,I have been into legends since I was young as well.
Lego's were a legit toy for me, but I feel I played most with Ghostbuster Fire house. Didn't matter the action figure but that was a centerpiece to the battle. Growing up sucks ha ha.
.... I don't get it. Dolls that are 5'5" and 132 lbs, or he is 5'5 and and 132lbs and "loves" to "play" with dolls, though why anyone would admit to that, I don't know. (I think "love" was a key word in what he said if you catch my drift )
G.I.Joe is a in the heart classic but there was a line from Fisher price from the Early 80's adventure figures they where so cool they had vans, dirt, bikes, camping, tents, canoes, skydivers with real working parachute shock was very cool . (these figures were 3.75 G.I.Joe size specifically a figure that had a cowboy hat green lens sunglasses painted stubble and a red long sleeve shirt blue pants and brown boots I think Dagger actually has one in his trade list very cool !) because it looked like my dad it was awesome I actually found it in my stuff I had stored away when I moved back to Hawaii . And secret wars wolverine still have him too Nice topic
I was geeked on so many toys growing up, gotta say that star wars were my first love, followed by gi joe and he-man. I had a bunch of the ljn wwf wrestlers too. Always had an action figure or 2 in my pockets.
The dude from "Jingle All the Way." Dude was awesome... can't even remember what he was called... Maybe Captain Amazing, something really basic like that.
Though call, I started with Playmobil (actually as a toddler I first had bendies called Playflixies). In the magical Playmobil world I absolutely loved the western theme and the space theme. Around 1983 the A-Team rocked my world, so I mostly played with my 3 3/4" A-Team. In 1985 I finally had the He-Man and Skeletor 2-pack with story cassette (tape ), had many battles with them. Loved M.A.S.K. and Bravestarr, but never had those toys... In 1987 I became passionate about wrestling, well WWF back in those days. It wouldn't be until 1990 that WWF figs by Hasbro would be available in my country: Belgium. By that time my parents thought I was too old for toys. To my huge surprise my parents bought me 2 figs from a fun fair in 1991; Hulk Hogan and what I thought was Hercules... Well the figs were bootlegs in MOTU-style and 'Hercules' turned out to be Big John Studd. They were bootlegs, but I absolutely LOVED them!!! ... And STILL do
However favorite toy as a kid has to be my Mattel Captain Future 3-pack
Yea BraveStarr was pretty awesome! I also liked Silverhawks and Visionaries. Plus all of the usual HeMan, GI Joe, Thundercats and Transformers. I remember being able to have these huge battles with all my figures and both sides consisted of all types of figure lines. Ahhh the good old days
Bravestarr all the way !!! how can you not love a space cowboy with a talking metal horse ??? tiotally awesome oh and toxic crusader figs and stone protectors lol
Some sort of odd, squatting lizard-faced thing-may well have been MOTU. Also GI Joe-I have always been fascinated by the military, nowadays more so historical WW2-type stuff.
Ninja Turtles rock! I have over two-hunred of them! tch! Noob try over 1.5k Ninja turtles as a child I remember being little and spending over 300$(well my mom) on Turtles at 1 time.
But besides OBV Ninja Turtles I also LOVED mighty morphin Power Rangers
My parrents don't do that fore me. I half to spend my own money on stulf.
When I was really little, I liked a spiderman figure. I remember it had some type of string that you could attach to something and then spiderman would climb it. For most of my childhood though, it was GI Joes and Heman. My favorites for those lines were Snake Mountain and Greyskull for MOTU, and the MCC for Joes.

Centurions were cool all those accessories and the cartoon.....power extreme......also liked mask, thundercats and visionaries but the alltime fave just has to be the vintage star wars that I sold and then spent thousands on as an adult to reclaim my childhood
I had lots and lots of 3 3/4 inch G.I.Joes. Vechicles, jets, headquarters, ALL of it... well everything except the aircraft carrier and the space shuttle. But all that stuff is long gone. If I had only known what all that stuff would mean to me now.

7 - now: G.I.Joe (ARAH)
THIS! I still have it with lots of paint wear and very loose joints. (actually it is my sons now)
Honorable mentions
DC Super powers
Marvel Secret Wars figures
Transformers
He-man
Legos
Lincoln Logs
Hotwheels
Chuck Norris figures
its hard for me to pick any one toy but I've always loved star wars most
1. He-Man
1. G.I. Joe
2. Bravestarr
3. Ninja Turtles
There's really no way I can choose between He-man & G.I. Joe so they toe for 1st.
