Favorite Toybiz fig?

Posted in Identify Help

What was your favorite Toybiz fig from back int he day? I have to say that honestly, my favorite is Alien Carnage from the Spider-Man Classics 4 pack. It was a fake characetr, repainted Hybrid body on Venom head, but it looked pretty badass.

I actually had DC Heroes Mr. Freeze, Robin, and Joker. I also like the Penguin. I'd have to go with those.

Brown Wolverine from the very first X-Men series way back with pop out claws snikt. It might be the first Sabretooth as I remember he was cool but I never got one where the leg would stay on. Also I had Cyclops awesome action feature but I thought Scott was a dork so Wolvie always won the day.

Out of all the ToyBiz figures I've still got, including a couple of X-Men figures (Cyclops and Professor X), I have to say the Tyrant from the Video Game Superstars line, when they produced the original Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2 figures.

I can't choose one, I liked all the 90s x-men figures they put out. The articulation wasn't always the best but the sculpts were good.

For old school, I think I'll go with their Venom: The Madness figure. That thing has serious bulk and the extra heads are uber cool--the only thing I don't like are those red tentacles coming out of the palms of his hands--they just look weird and don't seem to jive with the rest of the figure.

More recently, I'd say the 12" rotocast Green Goblin from the Spider-Man line is my favorite--that thing has an insanely detailed sculpt and top notch paint--seriously, the other figures in that line look like complete crap in comparison. The only bad thing is that he doesn't come with a goblin glider or pumpkin bomb (despite his hand obviously being sculpted to hold one).

My favorites are the Marvel Legends and X-Men Classics Colossus, can't understand why they never made any other variations of him

I have always loved the "Smart Hulk" figure from the 90's Incredible Hulk line. I like the Web Wars Daredevil too because he could do a cool crouching pose.

I think mine is the ML series 7 Ghost Rider. Pre- Legends There were a few gems, X-Men flying fighters(Ithink) had Beast, Collosus and Bishop that were well detailed and articulated for the time, The Savage Land series Angel and Onslaught Apocalypse Rising.

I just like all of them, I can't think of anything better than the original x-force line. but my favorite over all still has to be stryfe and original deadpool, the one with the retractable knife

Hard to say. I had 50% of the 90s x-men figures, just about every cable figure. still had them in the packages until I donated them to charity in 2006 since I never thought I'd be doign customizing.
