How big is your collection?

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

So how big is your collection of figures?

I have two rooms detacated to my hobby.

200+ figs if you count my Star Wars stuff (come to think of it it may be 350+ if I inculde them)

I have been collecting since I was 16.

So what about you guys how big is your collection?

I recently started adding all the figs I have to my Checklist here on the site. It's mostly in storage tubs that don't take up much space, but damn the toys just keep on coming lol. Amazing how many figures can fit in just 1 of those 100 liter containers.

Also, love those robo dinosaurs

Wow, some really nice collections here guys. I personally try to keep my collections to a particular line. I'm currently collecting specific figures from the MP Transformers line and the G.I. Joe 50th Anniversary line. I don't display the Joes very often other then keeping Destro in the Cobra HISS since thats such an iconic image. The MP Transformers I have displayed on an IKEA shelf. I don't put them all up at the same time - I like to rotate them in and out. I also collect vintage handheld systems but thats another thread! =)

Mine takes up the entire house, much to the wife's dismay. Planning on building a mancave so she can have a normal house lol.

I've got a pretty good size collection. I don't really collect complete sets of figures, but just the ones I like. I'm always trying to find some free "vertical space" for my toys haha.

I'm a completely new collector, so I only have four. I've got ODST Dare and a helmetless Kat that were extras from my guy (those two were loose and he's a MIB collector...they're also girls.) And then I've got a hammer-throwin Gimli and my favorite, Pippin in his Gondor getup

My collection is strictly Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. I am guessing I have about 40 figures on 3 shelves

I cannot believe I'm about to say this but your collection is even more EPIC than I'd dared to imagine. It really is mind blowing and we've still got the Yoda stuff to come . Seriously do you have to rub some sort of magic lamp to get to this cave of wonders??

Dude! I remember that Command Center! A buddy of mine in elementary school had one, and I was supremely jealous.

On the topic though! I tend to be very picky, and want to figures (at least for now) to all be in scale with each-other. (I got for the 7'' scale) Right now I have 25, at least until my new Batman gets here! Muhahaha...

I quit collecting Marvel because I couldn't seem to get my hands on a reasonably priced McFarlane Spider-Man, but here's some pics of what I have left over before getting rid of most of them.

My collection is down to about maybe 15 figures if that. I could fit them all into one of my display cubes if the bases weren't so big.

My son and I have been collecting since he was 4 he's 5 and half now. We have about. 60 figures and I just started customizing. Def going to be adding more. But. For now its mainly dc. I keep them in the living room on this really nice marble and wood wall/shelf type thingy. I'm sure there's a name for it but I dunno what it is. I'm hoping to get pics up soon.

I can't post pictures yet, but I've got no where near as many as some people do. Right now I've got about 60 to 65 different wrestlers, ranging from old ECW, WCW and WWF to about near the latest line. I think the most modern I have is Cesaro and Ryback I believe. I've got a few of the six inch DCU figures, but the main ones I collect is Marvel 3.75 and the JLU series. Between them and my two customs, I really have no idea, lol. I'll have to do a count and post later.

I've only been truly collecting figures for a little over a year. This is most of my Marvel Legends/Select collection. I like to try and put my figures in the correct era the costumes and villains are from. I still need some figures and flight stands/bases to finish off these displays. The Classic Avengers and Classic X-Men are the only ones close to being done. I try to only use pieces that came with Legends/Select figures. Classic Thor's hammer is being cast atm, and thanks to all the fellow Realmers whose trades helped set some of this up!

Avengers Classic:

Avengers Modern & Hell:

X-Men Classic:

X-Men Days of the Future Past:

X-Men Mojo:

X-Men Modern:

Wow! All you guys have so many! I'm barely at about 30 unopened figures thus far. I don't really collect anything specific besides Gremlin figures but I do focus on high articulation figures. Spending too much money I am recently...

Wow, that's a ton of amazing pics! Nice job.

I have two walk-in closets at my house that are full of transformers, threeA figures, as well as a lot of Marvel and DC figures from various lines. Also have some real head and super 7 vinyl figures. Then, there're a couple of closets full of carefully packaged boxes with a lot of MISB items

Yayaa!

I got pictures of my collection - 1,448 pieces on a website. It helped earn an A in my Web Design class. Just ignore the paragraph about selling the collection, I'm still a few weeks away from doing that. Enjoy looking through it.

I decided to use my space for statues:

I have 1,400 figures and only 100 of them are loose. I also have 96 statues. I moved a while ago and went from a 1,500 sq foot basement to a 800 sq foot basement so they are almost all in boxes.( 54 of them)

I hear you on that dude, I just collect vintage stuff now at least I know there will never be any more so there's a chance of completing that collection. I think the falcon was the same size as the vintage so that new one is just immense, I love it but I'll never own it
