RIP Challenge Thread

Posted in Custom Workstation

Yep I did the deed and got rid, you may remember the poll results said we wanted to keep it. But, after only 6 people decided to vote and the thread only having had 29 visits in two months I decided it just wasn't popular enough to warrant keeping it. Real shame as I enjoyed entering into challenges and such.

Yeah, that could be a possible reason, don't forget though guys you're more than welcome to arrange challenges between yourselves it doesn't have to be gone for good. However I think this thread further shows it wasn't that popular, or just wasn't getting seen. If it were more popular, there would be more messages of condolance for the poor challenge thread.

It seems like there are fewer custom submissions on here than there used to be. I think money being tight kind of hurt the challenges too as figures are way overpriced these days.

I'm also sad to see it go, as I thought it was a cool idea. I only participated in one, but I still think the concept had good potential and am surprised it wasn't more popular.

You can always challenge someone to a build-off, it just won't be "official". Both parties post their figures on the same day(agreed date between the two people) then start a thread/poll and link the two customs in the subject.
No reason to let the idea die if you are interested, it just wasn't well received by all of the members.
