Welcome to the Trading Post! (leave your shoes at the door)

Posted in Trading Post

This board is the place to go when you need to find that right piece for your custom or the last figure to complete your collection, it's a great way to see what other site members have to offer! Swap parts and gear, sell your old collection, make back-alley deals, anything goes, except for Ebay links, please don't post those.

And it's become necessary, so here it is, a dreaded disclaimer:

Trading Post Disclaimer
Figure Realm is in no way responsible for any trades made on its boards, good or otherwise. By using the Trading Post, or any other function of this site, to make a deal with another site member, you are doing so at your own risk. Figure Realm and the Regulators have no way of protecting you against any losses resulting from bad trades, so please, don't send us emails like "Johnny didn't send me my stuff! Ban him!" These kinds of emails will not warrant a response as there is nothing we can do about the situation. We do not encourage trading with other users, but we realize some of you are going to do it anyway. We do have a makeshift feedback-system on the Trading Post board to help potential traders see who is and isn't an honest trader, be sure to take a look at that topic to see the names of members who have traded successfully with each other. Keep in mind that Figure Realm does have a safe and secure Figure Shop with an enormous selection of action figures to assist in your figure needs.

Hey! This guy won't send me my stuff!
Read the disclaimer.

Hey! This guy backed-out of our deal!

Hey! This guy sent me a fake GI Joe and it was broken and when I tried to play with it it blew-up!
Lol. Oh yeah, and read the disclaimer. But actually, you can report people for scamming you, it's considered mail fraud and that's a federal offense. Its not fast or easy but you can get your stuff back using this form, good luck! Report Mail Fraud

Ask any more specific questions here if you'd like! Also, if you really want to complain about a trader then you can do that here too and see if it helps.

Welcome back mate, your old account probably got deleted due to inactivity. Helps keep the forums running smoothly. I'm sure there are a few members still around that would vouch for you though

Hi all ,

I was active on these boards a while back using the username Scarletmagpie, but I cannot access that account any more.
Anyway I got rid of my entire collection of DCUC/ML and am now starting out customising Star Wars figures (specifically making dioramas or creating characters from the Star Wars the Old Republic game world).
Just wanted to say Hi and hopefully I can do business with you guys and get some great pointers and advice on how to customise these little bad boys and girls!

rules for posting ebay links: don't mention anything about ebay unless you pay for advertising space, then you get a special box on your submission to put the link in. Any other way of doing this will get you warnings and eventually banned. Talk to Cap coder about the advertising stuff.

I've gotten several strange PMs about my trade lists from a long time ago like 6 pages back. If it's not on the first page, disregard it. It's kind of annoying.

Well the deal was there was pictures of it, the two pieces looked just fine and were already joined together which is what I expected to get in the trade instead the pieces came separated and looked like they were on the bad end of a BAF sized bar fight.

ANd here are the said pics:

Yeah, I guess you can trade/sell some of your games here too, just don't turn it into a store!

And it's alright for you guys to post complaints in here, just remember there's not really anything we can do about it, but it helps let other people know who to be careful with.

And yeah, always get pictures! I rarely care about the condition since I just break stuff anyway but some people like their stuff clean.

Esbat, all you can do is give him the feedback you feel he deserves and reasons why. There's no point in posting a grievance here in this thread. Doc and Cap can't do anything to help you out in your situation.

I assume if dominick0221 gets a bunch of bad feedback and complaints we could lock his trade thread but in future you should ask for pics of the things you're trading for in advance of sending your stuff.

Right now Im having problems with dominick0221. I sent him a straight out of package ml6 phoenix w/ base. He sent me 2 messed up galactus parts. He has done little to remedy the situation other than tell me he can't find replacement parts and got rid of the phoenix already. I don't know what else to do as he keeps telling me "a deals a deal". Ill post pics of the damage shortly.

Okay, just needed to know if my old CD's and video games would also be able to be traded on here. I have a closest full of old 12" GI Joe's and a mini foot locker of weapons and spare clothes.

Cap would appreciate it if you only posted toys but I don't mind the occasional odd item.

you can do that stuff to, quite a few collectors throw that stuff up in their trade threads or create seperate threads for that.
