Capcomical Custom Contest
Hadoken! Capcom is one of the best known and respected third-party video game developers of all time, responsible for many genre-defining titles on multiple gaming platforms. The object of this challenge is to immortalize one of their creations in figure form.

You have two options for your contest submission(s):

1.) Make a custom figure that represents a character from one of Capcom's many intellectual properties. These include, but are not limited to: Bionic Commando, Darkstalkers, Dead Rising, Devil May Cry, Final Fight, Ghosts 'N Goblins/Ghouls 'N Ghosts, Killer 7, Lost Planet, Mega Man, Monster Hunter, Onimusha, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Strider, and Viewtiful Joe. In addition to video game renditions, you may also elect to do a movie, comic book, or cartoon version of a Capcom-owned character, if it's applicable (i.e., Mega Man from the Captain N: The Game Master cartoon, Jean-Claude Van Damme as Guile from the Street Fighter live action movie, etc.).

2.) Craft a custom of a character that Capcom doesn't own, but that does appear in one of the many licensed games Capcom has developed for other companies, or in one of their Versus collaboration titles. Whomever you pick must have actually appeared in the game in question (i.e., if you choose one of the Marvel Vs. Capcom games, you can't select just any Marvel Comics character, he/she/it has to be found in the game somewhere, even if only as a brief cameo). Further, you must make the version of the character depicted in said title (i.e., if Iron Man is wearing his Modular Armor in the game, then that's what your custom needs to look like, you can't just pick any Iron Man suit that you want). Some examples of these licensed games include: Alien Vs. Predator, Capcom Vs. SNK, Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers, Ducktales, Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom/Shadow Over Mystara, Marvel Vs. Capcom, The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge, The Punisher, Spawn: In The Demon's Hand, Willow, X-Men: Children of The Atom, and Zelda: Oracle of Seasons/Ages. Be aware that there are multiple versions of some of these licensed titles, not all of which were necessarily developed by Capcom (i.e., there are a number of completely different Alien Vs. Predator video games, but Capcom only made the 1994 arcade installment)--so, do a bit of research if you're not sure.

- It's okay if the game you pick to make a character from was only released in Japan, Europe, or wherever, just as long as it was published and/or developed by Capcom you're golden. Try to include a reference screenshot and/or artwork from the game in question as part of your entry photos so that Figure Realm members can compare your custom work to the source material when they vote, this is particularly important if your figure is from one of the more obscure games (most people have at least heard of Resident Evil and Street Fighter, but if you mention Pirate Ship Higemaru, you're likely to get a blank stare).

- There are no size/scale limitations for your custom figure(s) and you can use whatever parts/materials you wish.
Please remember to follow the Contest Rules and to Vote Fairly.
