MOTU Mini Contest 4 - Ninjor

Madtinker, Cerebus and myself all decided to make Ninjor for the 4th MOTU Mini Contest ( Sorry about the late entry - I exceeded my ISP monthyl limit, so was unable to laod pics from home )

Attention all MOTU fans!!

Madtinker, Cerebus and myself would like to invite all customisers to join in the next MOTU Mini Contest.

The Theme is "Make Mine MOTU" The rules are simple you can make a custom of any existing character from the MOTU universe, an original MOTU character of your own design ( Please include a detailed back story so everyone gets your figure) or a "What if.." eg What if the Hulk had landed on Eternia rather than Sakaar during the Planet Hulk Story - What would an existing pop culture character look like once they had been "MOTU-ised?"

The date to post your pics ON not by - It's important everyone posts their pics on the one date - will be the 15th of June 2009.

Please email any questions to myself via the realm

Thanks and we look forward to your entries.

I always felt that Ninjor was a cool figure, a removable mask and heaps of cool weapons.
But I felt he was a little out of place in the MOTU universe ( Kinda like the toy designers just ran out of original ideas, and decided Eternia could use a ninja)

I wanted my Ninjor design to be instantly recognisable as a MOTU character. I based my design on other Martial Arts inspired characters Jitsu and Tri-Klops. I wanted to create a feeling that they could have all studied under the one master at one point in their lives.

The original Ninjor toy was all about the weapons - most MOTU figures came with one weapon, Ninjor had three! I used a He-man 200x variant Sword and Bow, the other weapons are from a Dollar Store Ninja. The Sai attach to his belt via a small rubber loop.

Base - WWE Cody Rhodes
Armour - Vintage and 200X Tri-Klops
Weapons - 200x He-man and dollar store Ninja

thanks, yes I think we all highlighted the different aspects of the character, now if only Mattel would give us a ll a job! I used a wrestler head and a PITT Ponytail for the head.
