Defining Genghis Khan as either good or bad is debatable, I've got my own opinion, but I'm not gonna weigh in on that. To say the least, he was an extraordinary man...and this custom is EXTRAORDINARY too! What an awesome depiction of Temujin!

In 1225, Genghis Khan returned to Mongolia. He now ruled everything between the Caspian Sea and Beijing. He looked forward to the Mongols benefits of caravan trade and drawing tribute from agricultural peoples in the west and east. He created an efficient pony express system. Wanting no divisions rising from religion, he declared freedom of religion throughout his empire. Favoring order and tax producing prosperity, he forbade troops and local officials to abuse people. Soon again, Genghis Khan was at war. He believed that the Tangut were not living up to their obligations to his empire. In 1227, around the age of sixty-five while leading the fighting against the Tangut, Genghis Khan, it is said, fell off his horse and died.
In terms of square miles conquered, Genghis Khan had been the greatest conqueror of all time -- his empire four times larger than the empire of Alexander the Great. The Mongol nation believed that he had been the greatest man of all time and a man sent from heaven. Among the Mongols he was known as the Holy Warrior, and not unlike the Jews, who continued to see hope in a conquering king (messiah) like David, Mongols were to continue to believe that one day Genghis Khan would rise again and lead his people to new victories-IF I AM A MONGOLIAN OR A PRO MONGOLIAN THEN I WILL CONSIDER HIM A HERO.. THEN MIRROR IMAGE I WILL SEE IS HE IS EVIL AND NON HERO,,,,

Same comment as the other guy... woulda been my personal favorite figure in this contest, but... this isn't a mirror. This is an extrapolation. I still rated high since it's just an absolutely phenomenal figure but I can't give you full marks since this really doesn't have to do with the contest.

Cool figure, but I'd say you're wrong in thinking Genghis Kahn was regarded as a hero or a nice guy (except maybe by his own people)--he was one of the bloodiest butchers the world has ever known. Your turning him from good --> evil is completely off track, it should have been the other way around.
From Wikipedia:
"In the Middle East and Iran, he is almost universally looked on as a destructive and genocidal warlord who caused enormous damage and destruction to the population of these areas.[39] Similarly, in Afghanistan (along with other non-Turkic Muslim countries) he is generally viewed unfavorably though some groups display ambivalence as it is believed that the Hazara of Afghanistan are descendants of a large Mongol garrison stationed therein.[40][41]
The invasions of Baghdad, Samarkand, Urgench, Kiev, Vladimir among others caused mass murders, such as when portions of southern Khuzestan were completely destroyed. His descendant, Hulagu Khan destroyed much of Iran's northern part and sacked Baghdad although his forces were initially defeated by the Mamluks of Egypt. Trade along the Silk Road never recovered to its former state.[citation needed]
According to the works of the Persian historian Rashid-al-Din Hamadani, the Mongols killed more than 700,000 people in Merv and more than a million in Nishapur. The total population of Persia may have dropped from 2,500,000 to 250,000 as a result of mass extermination and famine.
Although the famous Mughal Emperors were descendants of Genghis Khan and Tamerlane, they distanced themselves from the Mongol atrocities against the Khwarizim Shahs, Turks, Persians, the citizens of Baghdad and Damascus and historical figures such as Attar of Nishapur.
Among the Iranian peoples, he is regarded along with Tamerlane as one of the most despised conquerors of Iran.[42][43] The Mongol violence and depredations killed up to three quarters of the population of the Iranian Plateau, possibly 10 to 15 million people. Some historians have estimated that Iran's population did not again reach its pre-Mongol levels until the mid-20th century.[44] In much of Russia, Middle East, Korea, China, Ukraine, Poland and Hungary, Genghis Khan and his regime are credited with considerable damage, destruction and loss of population."
