Vigilante (DC Universe) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:31414
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:DC Universe
Date Added:July 29, 2011
Base Figure:ML Patriot
Height:6.00 inches
This was a very special project. A man I had recently met, wanted a First Appearance Vigilante custom to commemorate his father who had recently passed away. The Vigilante's look encompassed all that his father was. A hard as nails cowboy who fought with every ounce of his fiber. This job was of no charge. I just couldn't justify charging for job like this. On to the recipe-

Head- ML Punisher (Hair was given a heavier blue dry-brush)
Hat- ML Logan- Dremeled out the inside a bit and gave it a clean white painting.
Upper torso- ML Patriot (Dremeled off the star and gave it a full repaint, even if the blue is similar)
Fore arms and gloves- LCBH Madman. Sculpted the forearms to resemble fabric.
Legs and lower torso- MM Joker Thug (Painted khaki and given a dusty paintbrush)
Boots- Pretty sure these were from a movie ghost rider. I may be wrong.
Guns and Gun belt- Retooled Movie Jonah Hex
Belt Buckles were both sculpted along with his handkerchief.
Lasso is a piece of string super glued at parts to stay together. Painted black and drybrushed yellow.

I hope you guys enjoy this blast from the past. Much like the father he commemorates, he will always be remembered.

You guys are swelling my heart. I am so happy you guys liked him. I am actually editing a short 5 minute documentary on the process of making the figure and delivering. My client was kind enough to tell me why the character was so important on camera. Thank you guys again.

I'm with CosmicFantasy. This is the quintessential vigilante. His character never gets enough spotlight time and I love the Western themed characters. Now I have to add thos to my to do list!

The reference art I looked at all had the traditional black hair/blue highlight comic look. Thank you for the kind words guys!

Been awhile since I have seen vigalante in anything but after searching my comics I found that he does indeed have black hair Don't know why I thought it was dirt brown maybe I am just that big a fan of Clint Eastwood. LOL
