3bcustoms - well bro, you need to make us a few! you can make the acolyte, aoa, that exile version...loads of them! get to it~!!

G Brand - I wish I could keep him for my collection. he's a tad big than the 7.5" scale size but looks decent with some other figures

Bob-A-Ferret - we go way back ferret! I know ya!

gipsy83 - thank you Dan!

eddie_grayce - eddie, you are the one who makes masterpieces left and right!

hussapocalypse - thank you good sir! I am surprised any of my old stuff gets any attention these days...haha! I loved ol' Devil Dinosaur and Moon boy too! I have another planned. I don't know about being the metal and chrome king, that is a lofty about jester! I am still learning. There are ways to paint it to make it look realistic. Like Colossus' costume was red, then add red coloring and reflections to it. Chrome is just a mirror of the surroundings but you have to fool the brain with what the eye sees and it will register it as "chrome". If that makes any sense? Love Bid Daddy Roth and I need to get up with you about doing a project if you want on that note! send me a email to "fastfreddiecustomfigures@gmail"

Lobão - thank you Big L!

suprasizeme - well, to be honest, I didn't like it either at first because I love his classic costume and you know I love the classics. But years later in looking back, it's one of those retro 80's things that you think about and say that would be cool to see as a custom figure.

G_Rantula - thank you Rantula! I keep trying my friend

NeCrollector - I really appreciate that comment and honored you think that highly of me

CAb00se - I'm humbled you think so and always check out your stuff

ole jade jaw - thank you OJJ!

Comicustoms! - Booker J! Thank you my friend!!

Stevid - I will help you with everything I know...which isn't much because I've never had an art class in my life and self taught on the airbrush.

scarecr0w13 - I appreciate that! I have saw some models and figures painted to look just like it was in the comics. I want to try that one day

jmtrtt - it's one of those out of the ordinary Colossus costumes. thank you for commenting

Jakey-Jake - thank you double J

Bamf67 - thank you sir!

dbocustoms - well, it's different. I do like the solid silver/chrome look too, but it's more fun this way!

megatrooper - thank you, I'm still working on perfecting it. have several differnt ideas to experiment with

RedRebelCustoms - I thank ya and posted an arrow pointing you to it. hope it helps somewhat

Cosmic Fantasy Customs - thanks CFC! I got your message and will get back with ya!

Redmist - I don't know if I can compete with Kitty P, 'Mist!

customapprentice - thanks customapprentice, I'm glad somebody else like this costume too. I didn't think it was too popular

Shinobitron - Thanks Shin...I need to post a pic of him with the ML Colossus

Dude you are the KING of painting metal and chrome! Also thanks for that tutorial and sharing your knowledge - I am going to try to utilize some of those techniques in the near future bro. On an unrelated note, I was browsing through some of your previous work and saw that you did a Devil Dinosaur custom, and my eyeballs popped out of my head like an Ed "Big Daddy" Roth Rat Fink drawing!

I am not a huge fan of this costume for Colossus but you make him look awesome despite it. I loved that you used the T-Hawk base for the extra mass and the sculpts are great. But as always the paints steal the show...simply amazing!!!

Your wish is my command... Here is a link to a tutorial on painting a Colossus: HEAVY METAL back from June 2009. An airbrush is not needed, if you do not have one, for the places airbrush was used, just thin your paint down like a light transparent wash over the silver and that will work. As far as the white sunbursts(highspots), just use thin downed white and start at a bigger circle until you get to the center and use full opaque or gloss white for the center. Here is the tutorial.... w*w.kylerobinsoncustoms.c*m/toysoup/viewtopic.php?p=8563#p8563
