This was the first Star Wars custom I did.i had just read 'Dark Rendezvous' which features a padawan called Scout who isnt strong in the force but was a great warrior. I thought it would be nice if she survived order 66 and so this was born...
The base figure was lyra from the golden compass lines. I got a few of the GC figures as fodder for spares a while ago when they were £1 each at a discount store and did have them on display for a while. However, I never liked them as the detal was soft and they were simply outof place in my collection. So....I cut off all the fur and the lower part of the jacket, added the lover robe of a prince of persia figure over the jacket to make the bottom bit of a Jedi robe.A few bits were added from the spares box. The whole thing was repainted using vallejo and citadel and weathered using MIG weathering powders to give the figure a gritty feel, The helmet was a Tron figure's head modified to look more 'Star Wars' and weathered up. The flesh in the helmet and the durasteel was painted to show it had just been cut with a lightsaber. The saber came from a general grievous saga legends figure. The base was a cheap base covered in slate and painted up with acrylics. I am mixed about this figure now (I am a perfectionist and never satisfied!) but I like the cheeky smile Scout has and it makes a nice addition to my collection
