Photon (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:44110
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Date Added:November 6, 2012
Base Figure:Spider-Woman
Height:6.00 inches
Monica Rambeau first appeared by the name Captain Marvel, and joined the Avengers. She later changed her name to Photon, then Pulsar, but has apparently reverted back to Photon. All because the original Captain Marvel's son can't get his sh#t together. Don't ask...
This figure started out with a Spider-Woman body and a movie Storm head. Those Man-Hands had to go! I replaced them with Invisible Woman's. I was hung up on how to make the hair. I considered using an ear bud cover like my Power Man, but found a wrestling figure with BIG hair, so I decided to use it. When it came to the cape/arm things, I didn't want to just glue it on. I remembered the old Banshee figure from the 90s, and wanted to try it that way. So, I cracked open the upper torso, glued the cape inside, and cut grooves into the arms, then glued the rest of the cape there. Other costume details from rubber and label tape.
Thanks for looking. Please leave a comment.

take care,

Is that Carlito's hair?? It's nice to see it have some depth to it, and heck, maybe it's little dreads and not such a tight afro, and that's kinda cool. It's visually interesting. Nice job with the cape too. A challenge to get right and you pulled it off nicely.
