So due to the lack of diverse female cast members in TMNT canon and in response to the series I am currently working on in blog form that acts as a loose continuation of the original TMNT series...from a certain point on. I decided to add Ninjara to the cast, mainly because in the old Archie series she was a rather important character.

In my series she pretty much is still a woman named Umeko, who was transformed into a fox creature after her half-sister (the illegitimate child of Oroku Saki) Pimiko attempted to summon a Kitsune (fox spirit) to possess her. Hoping to ostracize the sister as an outcast due to the possession and claim the familial inheritance, due to Kitsunetsuki (the state of being possessed by a fox) often leading to such outcomes. The possession did not go as Pimiko had hoped, instead the spirit that took hold of Umeko was that of a benevolent spirit called a zenko, or good fox, causing Umeko to transform into a physical entity of a fox demon...while Umeko was no longer human and would still be outcast, the zenko gave her the strength to fight her half-sister...

Umeko, now calling herself Ninjara (in this case the name of the zenko spirit), in an unusual display of trickery, ensured that the inheritance would instead go to a charity as opposed to the sister who had tried to curse her. Leaving Pimiko penniless and alone, she had no choice but to seek the man who she had discovered to be her father, a man called Oroku Saki, Umeko/Ninjara made sure to follow her sister to America, and in New York she discovered others who had been transformed into strange animal hybrids similar to herself.

Enough with background, the figure was made from a combination of NECA RE Sheva Allomar, DCUC Man-Bat and ML Blade. The head was sculpted and this shot really captured a good look at the face.

You get an applause from me simply for going as far as to mess with those leg pegs to make new legs. I would like to do it more with my customs but I'm lazy and I hate it.

She is a FOX! lol. I have to go back and look up some info on her. My only suggestion would be to take or smooth down the musculature on her arms some some. Still she looks great though.

I originally had smaller more feminine (by feminine I mean female wrestler-esque) arms, but they were horribly disproportionate to the legs.
