Fisrt for the week is Flash Thompson-Agent Venom. I give credit to Raybot for being the first doing the same thing with the original figure; but I also have to confess that I had the idea since I heard the original figure was going to be released I just did not get my hands on the figure until a couple days ago; so it was then I decided to bring it down from the Marvel Select scale to the Marvel Legends scale. The figure stands at a height of 6" and 5/8" tall ( I actually brought it down almost and inch. I added double joints on the knees and elbows, cut it down bit on the waits and lower part of the legs changed the entire neck, boots, right leg gun holster, and hands. I also sulpted a new head and forearms on the figure and added a repainted steve rogers head for the unmasked head.
Finally a full repaint, did some areas glossy black and others flat black with the grayish dry brushed; I was aiming to make the original paint styled the figure had.

Check the comparison picture!!

Hope you like it and thank you,

Is just as they say better start something from scrath than trying to modify what already exists. BUT if you ask me? I say go ahead try it. The hardest thing is getting the modifications to blend in and not be nocieable as if they do not belong to the figure.

I have the same figure and I wouldn't mind making a hair shorter to fit in better with with my other Marvel Legends figures. Did you just cut out a section from his lower legs to make him shorter?

I actually cut it down a bit on the waist, the knees, the lower part of the legs where the feet are, and the neck.

I dunno, that masked head looks too small compared to the torso.

Now that you mentioned it,in the first picture it does look alittle off ( maybe the angle of the head). The originl was out of proportions and the unmasked head looks a bit bigger that the masked one because the hair gives additional volume and also the head is looking down so maybe because the neck guard piece covers some of it it also makes it look like that. In different angles looks different.

I guess Flash should have broad shoulders, but I do think it's too small. Something like some of the heads on DCUC figures, like Aquaman. And that collar ads to the bulk of the torso, too.
