Here's a figure that's been years in the making...
L Lawliet from Death Note, as portrayed by Kenichi Matsuyama in the live-action films. Such a cool and interesting character, and I loved how even though the films differ drastically in many plot points from the anime/manga, they still maintain the essence of the story and are done rather well.
I had all my pieces and accessories ready and waiting, but couldn't find a proper body!!! I tried several different makes/models over the years, nothing worked....but I finally got a Hot Toys slim body that was relatively cheap. So my L is done, no more staring at him in pieces on my cabinet anymore!
He's got 2 sets of feet; either bare feet or sneakers, several hands, and a donut kabob :)
Here's a brief recipe;
Body: Hot Toys TTM22
Head: Hot Toys Kamui Gaiden
Jeans: unknown, weathered with acrylics
Shoes: Monsi Toys Converse, repainted
Feet: Hot Toys TTM22, resculpted with epoxy
Hands: Hot Toys Bruce Lee/ misc loose
Donut Kabob: wire and epoxy sculpt
Death Note: 1/6 plastic covered notebook, altered with printed pages
