I love Warhammer. The universe, the lore, the characters...sometimes it's too big. And while I'm partial to 40k over the fantasy version, some of the fantasy elements caught my interest the more I looked into them. And I always look at characters and art in terms of action figures "how could I make that?" "would that make for a good action figure?" The only problem is that there are too many characters and designs and it can be hard to choose sometimes. I'm working on some Tomb Kings and I'd love to make a Skaven or two.

This guy is the hopefully the start of some fully fleshed out Warhammer customs and I plan on going back and forth between fantasy and the 40k universe. I also wanted to make some medieval armor and this guy had the right look. The base body is one of the Iron Spider-men and after being dremmeled down I sculpted the armor, head and added the fabric bits. His sword, staff, and book are made from styrene with some sculpting on top. I always get a kick out of the warhammer miniatures and how much detail can go into them (check out the Golden Demon awards) and I'm trying to capture that in a larger scale.

This is awesome, as a new Warhammer fantasy player (well, painter for now, haven't had my first game yet), I'd like to try making some Chaos warrior figs myself. Thanks for inspiring me! Love your other figures too!

Dude, I love making figure like this too, mythical creature and stuff. I think you should go freestyle on your own concept of "Angel of Death".

I love the aged warn look that works soooo well with the subject matter! Sculpt, the clothes you've utalized, and the paints are stellar! Keep knocking them out of the park, and leaving our jaws on the floor S.S., the real custom community are loving it!

Siiiiiick!!! So this guy belongs to the tomb kings right? For the next ones that you work on you should try and throw in more gold with gems and such to give that "Ancient Egyptian vibe". But this is flawless!!! It would be really cool to those skaven! Like a warpstone engineer or even one of those monstrous sized Skaven Brutes...

This is an Iron Spider-man....seriously???? Dude...that's just insane. (⊙_⊙(☉_☉)⊙_⊙)

Please tell me you're also an Elder Scrolls fan, and plan on doing figs for Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim. Seeing this guy tells me you could make a kickass dragon priest. ʘ‿ʘ
