I really like characters with wings and shields or even those characters that can be easily set in different eras or time lines.
I think Hawkman perfectly fits those guidelines.

With this figure I decided to go with an Egyptian feel.

I too like winged characters, hence why I made a bunch of Angel customs. This figure turned out very, very well. Regardless of how much time it took, It looks awesome.

This Hawkman came out looking great. A lot of effort, I bet. But worth the end result.

I'd love to say I labored over this custom but honestly I didn't. It took longer to gather all of the necessary pieces out of different fodder bins than it did to glue them on. The painting took the most time.

Look closely at the figure. I haven't changed the base body at all. I added the helmet to the existing head, I bashed the belt together from two different belts, I glued on the leg armor, That's it. Oh and I sculpted the ball on the bottom of the weapon and drilled holes for the wings.

Besides paint, it's s pretty lazy custom.

But thank you very much for the comments

Still, the attention to detail alone is labor intensive and requires the most important ingredient: patience. Bravo, my friend.

Thank you for the kind words.
I'd love to take credit for making the shield but I just repainted it.
I liked it because it tied in with the wings on the belt and the birds on the shin guards. All of which came from different figures.

Thanks again for looking
