Arnold Schwarzenegger (Battle Damaged T-850) - 7" Super Articulated (Terminator) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:19769
Name:Arnold Schwarzenegger (Battle Damaged T-850) - 7" Super Articulated
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Terminator
Date Added:February 7, 2010
Base Figure:Wresting Figure / Mcfarlane T3 Arnie
Height:7.00 inches
A super-articulated, Battle Damaged Arnold Schwarzenegger complete with an an interchangeable magnetic alt. head to go along with my 7" NECA Terminator Endoskeleton.

:: Recipe:

-Jakks (?) 7" wrestling figure (torso, arms, pelvis, upper legs)
-McFarlane T3 T-850 Box Set Battle Damaged T-850 (head)
-McFarlane T3 T-850 Graveyard Battle Scene T-850 (head with glasses, jacket, lower legs)
-NECA T2 T-800 (Guns/Ammo)
-ML Urban Legends Punisher (black gloved left hand)
-Aves Sculpt (chest, neck, knees, legs)
-Rare earth magnets (x3)
-Vallejo Acrylic Paints and Matte Varnish

-NECA T-800 Endoskeleton (in last image):
Base figure with redone leg articulation to make it fully posable. Gun came from a Doctor Who figure.

-Dremmeled the chest and resculpted some areas with Aves. Dremmeld the figure's sleeves to resemble a leather jacket.
-Cut off the odd-looking flat wrestler-figures lower feet, and spliced in the legs from the T3 Graveyard scene figure.
(reinforced the splice with lengths of paper clip set into drilled holes between the two pieces, held together with gel-type superglue)
-I dremmeled out this figure's neck to place the magnet inside, then resculpted the area (and sealed it after painting) with a few layers of liquid-type Krazy glue to prevent paint rub.

I went through a few hand choices with this figure, but I gave him back the original wrestling figure's "punching" right fist, and an articulated black gloved Marvel Legends hand from a PUNISHER figure.

Fully painted and sealed with Vallejo acrylic paints and matte varnish.

How'd I know this was yours even before I saw the name? lol. All we need now is a Deadpool Terminator.

@pulpy fiction: I'm sorry I missed you there, it would've been cool to connect in person with a fellow Realmer. Maybe in a future year - I'll be in Korea until November, but who knows about August 2012.

Blayne I also have to say the gear is way heavy duty! I liked your original 6-7" scale Terminator, but this one is a whole other level! I think I saw your original legends scale terminator at this past con, but you should have put this arnie out in your display case! Good stuff!

Heh, great minds think alike: I actually made this guy while I was at teachers college back in Dec. 2008, but didn't get around to photographing him (with some new accessories) until just before I moved to South Korea. I like the feet on your version much more.
@Kyatollah: Thanks for the praise, but the headsculpt was (with some minor tweaks using Aves), dremeled from the McFarlane T3 'boxed set' T-850. He's already battle damaged. The head was repainted though.
@Crisco: Yes, I used T3 figure parts, including the jacket. I did have to cut out armholes form the jacket though, as they're mean to fit a peg hole, not the arm-sized hole of a non-McFarlane action figure. Be very careful when lining up where to cut the hole - it's not perfectly aligned with the top-seam of the jacket for some reason.

The battle-damaged head is one of the best non-commercial sculpting jobs I have ever seen. Brilliant figure.
