Latest Events Mo-Larr vs Skeletor Review - Added by RMaster007 Friday, January 16, 2026 The packaging is rather unique, as it’s larger than usual due to it being a two-pack, but it’s also designed after Skeletor’s lair from the sketch, complete with massage chair and magazine on the floor. The figures and accessories are arranged nicely inside, with Skeletor resting on his chair thanks to some clear plastic, and the accessories are held against the backdrop with rubber bands. The bands hold everything in place fine, and they’re easy to remove, but you’ll still need scissors to get the box opened. Another fun detail is that in the cross-sell on the back, Beast Man and Grizzlor are included with poses related to the source material; Beast Man is tied up with floss, while poor Grizzlor has a drill lodged in his eye. Mo-Lar was custom-built off a vintage MOTU figure in the show, and he matched the style, but Four Horsemen helped him fit more with Classics, modernizing him whilst staying true to the source material. The portrait retains his confident grin and mullet, but the details are sharper, and he looks a bit more realistic than what the RC crew cobbled together. The sculpted hair and eyebrows look great, and the paint for the hair and face is very clean. Standing about 7” tall, Moe Larrstein uses a generic body with reused tooling, right down to having the standard loincloth (albeit solid blue) and boots (which are solid black, like the show), and I understand that his gloved forearms are recycled from Hordak. The dentist coat is unique to him, and while not tailored like the show, it’s a soft PVC that works fine, but restricts movement quite a bit. It has torn-off sleeves and a tooth on the chest pocket, which stores a little scraping tool, and bears an off-white color with gray wash and solid paint work on the little details, like the buttons and aforementioned tool. It’s been a long time since my first MOTU Classics review, but anyone familiar with the line knows how the articulation is. Mo-Larr gets a barbell head, swivel/hinge shoulders and hips, hinged elbows and knees, dual-hinge ankles (up-and-down and side-to-side, think ToyBiz), swivel biceps, wrists, waist, thighs, and shins, and an ab crunch. As I mentioned, the coat interferes with movement around the lower body, as the hips can’t go all the way out or forward, and the ab crunch is completely useless. Everything else works fine, though the right knee is loose on mine. He comes with plenty of dentistry tools, including a drill, a mirror, a pick, and a pair of pliers with a tooth. These tools are all vac-metalized, giving them a nice shiny look. There's also a box of floss, with the floss inside being a bundle of string that can be pulled out, and it opens up to store it back inside. Cool! The other half of the set is Skeletor, who had to face Mo-Larr after a missed appointment, and it's a mostly basic Skeletor, but with an unique head. This head has a paint scheme that more closely resembles the vintage toy used so often on Robot Chicken, but with a missing tooth. It's a little better than just using the basic head with a paper cut-out-styled mouth like the show uses, though that would've been acceptable as well. Standing 7" tall as well, the rest of Skeletor is the same as the standard version, and since I don't own that one yet, I can go over the work here. While using much of the same tooling as Mo-Larr and damn near everyone else in the line, the sculpt is still very solid, and I like the colors on him. Aside from the mixture of green and yellow used for the face, his skin is somewhat of a baby blue color, and a dark purple is used for his clothing. The harness over the chest can be removed through undoing the straps in the back, but it takes a bit of work the first time. He moves the same as Mo-Larr, but with no joint restrictions, and his accessories include his staff and a pair of swords. Both swords look the same, but one is flat as to resemble his vintage weapon. Robot Chicken may not be a show with much merch, let alone figures, but the fact that Mattel enjoyed their creation of Mo-Larr enough to give him an official figure speaks volumes about its popularity. This is a fun set that can appeal to fans of either property, and who wouldn't want a fighting dentist for their figure collection? It's a shame Mattel didn't do another Mo-Larr for their Origins or Masterverse line to commemorate RC's 20th anniversary, but the show sadly isn't as relevant as it was back when this set came out. It's all on HBO Max (at least for now) and a (rather pricey) DVD box set came out a few months ago, so I'd recommend giving the show a watch; you might love it more than you think you would. - 1/16/26...[See More] Write a new Comment BoxBaba Public Profile - Updated by BoxBaba Friday, January 16, 2026 eBay User Name: BoxBabaHonorable Mentions: BoxBaba is a modern packaging solutions provider dedicated to crafting premium, custom-designed boxes that elevate every brand’s identity. ...[See More] Rob Conway Character Profile - Updated by SirSkelly Thursday, January 15, 2026 He is also a seven-time Tag Team Champion, becoming a three-time World Tag Team Champion with Sylvain Grenier as part of La Resistance in the WWE and four-time NWA World Tag Team Champion once as part of The IronGodz with Jax Dane and three-times as part of The Iron Empire with Matt Riviera in the NWA. Not extremely muscular, like superhero or wrestler arms. Boss Fight Studio's a la carte arms are a bit too heroic. I'm seeking fit-but-mortal bare arms for a mere mortal man. The result I'm going for is a grounded, SW Vintage Collection feel. Does anybody know of anything that might work?
