From back of card: "Professor Quirrell teaches Defense Against The Dark Arts at Hogwarts. But who is this pale, young man with the stutter and why is he so uncomfortable around Harry? As the story unravels we learn his dark secret in the final battle for the Sorcerer's Stone."
Accessories: Magic medallion trick
Professor Quirrell, from the Wizard Collection, was made in limited quantities, along with the Headmaster Dumbledore and Remembrall Malfoy figures. Out of the three, he is easiest to find. Mattel later released variations on this figure in which Quirrell's head spins around to reveal Lord Voldemort, as seen in the closing scenes of the film The Sorcerer's Stone. Also, one variation of the Quirrell/Voldemort figure has a garlic necklace while the other does not.
Morever, the backs of the cards on these two variations have discrepancies. One version of the non-garlic necklace figure shows a photo on the back of the card with the necklace draped over the figure's right arm. Yet next to the words "'Garlic'" necklace, a factory-placed sticker reads "(not included"). This inconsistency seems to suggest an error in Mattel's production: some non-garlic necklace figures were incorrectly packaged on garlic necklace cards.
