Whatever name you want to call him -- Shazam! or Captain Marvel-- this figure is AWESOME regardless! Actually, I would have bought this had I had the money and found it in a toy aisle! I always called him Shazam! I thought probably the same way about this character now as I did back then -- a generic Superman! I vaguely remember his cartoon, but I still think he is a cool character, despite his close imitation of Superman. I remember he had a spot on the Nabisco Super Heroes cookie box from 1982. Despite being a tough figure to find carded, he is more expensive to find carded or loose/complete than Superman! I bought my first Shazam!
