He exuded authority and self-confidence, and almost managed to smuggle Merry and Pippin to Isengard, defeated at the last by Rohirrim. Úgluk was able to cut the head off an opponent in one swift slash. He was fought on foot by Éomer himself, a sign of honor of his great fighting skill.
