The vinyl cape jawa is the most notorious variant in the vintage line as the most well known and the most faked. Kenner decided that due to the small stature (2.25") compared to the regular figures (usually 3.75") that to charge the same price, they should add some value. So early on they switched to the cloth cape jawa toward that end, making this fella quite valuable, estimated value loose: $600, carded $2,500+ This is the same reason they pile on the junk on the yoda figure 4 years later. Interestingly, there seems to be an unspoken code among SW collectors-that if you accidentally get one, you don't complain, you take it like Leia and pass it on...
