As a zoologist and genetic researcher Kurt Langstrom was at the height of his profession. His major research was on the sensory operations of bats. Hoping to improve his own senses he tested an experimental serum comprised of bat genetic material on himself. The result was horrifying: Dr. Langstrom became a giant beast - half man, half bat! Well, I like Batman. I really like Batman. Out of all of my DC figures, only about 3 of my figures aren't related to anything Batman. Legends of the Dark Knight Man Bat, much like my Croc Armor Batman, came with a large toy box I bought a while back. Let me start by saying that Man bat is far from my favorite character, in fact, I barely know that much about him. Initially, I didn't care about him that much, and he got passed aside with the other figures I didn't feel like keeping. However, after a while, when I displayed everything I had, I picked up Man Bat and started looking closer. His sculpt is pretty cool, and he's definitely original.
