BIOGRAPHY — Rex Mason was an adventurer hired by Stagg Enterprises CEO, Simon Stagg, to retrieve a rare Egyptian artifact, the Orb of Ra. However, shortly after hiring him, Stagg learned that Mason was dating his daughter, Sapphire Stagg, leading the overprotective father to plot Mason's death. Inside an Egyptian pyramid, Rex was knocked unconscious by Stagg's brutish bodyguard, Java and was exposed to a radioactive meteorite from which the Orb of Ra was fashioned. After being bathed in the mysterious rays, Rex Mason was physically transformed into Metamorpho, the Element Man, gaining the ability to shapeshift and transform into practically any element. Thus began a life of reluctant crimefighting, helping to found the super hero outfit, The Outsiders, alongside Batman; serving a stint with the Justice League; and with his true love, Sapphire Stagg, always managing to stay one step ahead of her jealous father and his hired thug.

The paint-job is good for the most part, I'm not liking the neon-orange his right arm is made of though (it's not painted). It's supposed to be molten rock but it's bland and ugly when compared to the the lava-fist accessory. The large hammer-fist is light-weight so it won't weigh-down the arm, all the accessories "snap-on" so they are...[See More]
