The youngest son of Lord Denethor, Steward of Gondor, Faramir was brother to Boromir who perished defending Merry and Pippin. Unlike his brother, Faramir was not beloved by his father, and spent many years as a ranger, scouting and defending the wild borderlands of Gondor in order to earn his affection.
This figure of Faramir, son of Denethor and younger brother of Boromir, is a good rendition of the character. He comes with all the accessories you could want: his long bow some arrows and his sword, and the likeness is pretty decent. The figure is probably a bit too tanned but otherwise there isn’t much wrong with this figure. A removable hood would be an idea to make for him if you have spare parts or know where you could get one, but other than that it’s articulation is good and his action feature of slashing with his sword arm isn’t too bad or inhibiting. As most basic LOTR figures, Faramir stands at about 6 inches. He bears two weapons, a sword with sheath and a longbow with quiver and several arrows. He also has a special feature, a lever on his back, when pulled this lever causes him to swing his right arm up and down, allowing for sword swining action. Sadly, Faramir is one of those figures whose head looks very little like its movie counterpart. His head looks dumb, like hes lost.
