Upon arriving in Japan for a vacation, she discovered that her family had been ninjas for generations and she was officially initiated into the clan. She studied the Seven Silent Forms with the Blind Master, and has "The Eye That Pierces", "The Iron Hand", and "The Heart That Waits". After intensive training in the occult martial arts, she sought to mitigate the disadvantage of her relative size and strength by training for stealth. In so doing, she has honed the craft of infiltration to an art form. Jinx is Storm shadow's cousin, and was recruited for the Joe team by Snake-Eyes.
